COVID-19 Update

A message to our customers

On this page we will keep you up-to-date with the steps we are taking to mitigate the effect of COVID-19.

Current status – Thursday 09/04/20

Following government advice on the 24.03.2020 JMD are open with restricted hours 9.30AM – 3.00PM. We are an online business and in the essential hardware sector.

As the COVID-19 outbreak grows in severity, we want to take a moment to update our customers as to the status of our business operations. Although we are all keeping a close eye on these developments, JMD Building & DIY Supplies Ltd continues to operate. (Although some products may incur a longer lead time 2/3 weeks as some delivery areas are affected more than others)

The below list are product categories we are still able to supply as normal across the UK.

We continue to take orders online on our website 24/7 but are unable to answer phone calls due to staff absences. If you need to make contact please email us – sales@jmdbuildingsupplies.co.uk.

In order to protect drivers as well as our customers, we will be operating no contact deliveries. You will not be asked to sign for your delivery. Instead, drivers will verify your delivery with you and will then sign on your behalf.

We want to assure you we have taken precautions to protect staff during this time. We have provided hand sanitiser stations throughout our office and warehouse and we have made provisions to allow staff to work from home where possible to reduce contact. Any staff member who may develop symptoms of coronavirus will remain at home.

We aim to ensure the impact of this outbreak on our customers remains minimal. The team here appreciates your continued support and please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.
